Also, we educate and empower the dying person and their family as they transition as it relates to end- of life. 

The owner holds a degree in nursing and paralegal studies.  Licensed Practical Nurse  possessing  20 years of a fundamental understanding of anatomy, physiology, and nursing procedures, which is essential for reviewing and interpreting medical records in legal cases. LPNs can analyze medical information to identify  potential issues, weaknesses, or strengths in a case.

Specializing in drug and alcohol addiction, mental health, Veterans Administration, forensic psych nursing, dementia,  memory care centers  and assisted living facilities. Holds certifications in Legal Nurse Consulting,  Certified End of Life Doula (Death Doula) and Board Certified Patient Advocate. A dual profession showcases a unique blend of skills in both fields. 

Prepared to research medical issues, review literature and provide information on "standard of care", helping law firms prepare for malpractice trials involving medical cases.

END OF LIFE DOULA, is a support person who provides non-judgemental, non-medical holistic care support for nearing the end  of life. We aim to provide information to the dying and their family, to help them become familiar with the normal and natural stage of the dying process and stages of grief.

A death doula is not there to tell a dying individual  the "right or best way to die", but rather to help them make their own decision after learning their options. We educate and empower the dying and their families on their end of life journey as they transition.

An end of life doula may explore a patient's spiritual belief through active listening and conversations. 

They assist with advanced directives, standing vigils at a bedside, creating a sacred space for the dying and their families as they begin their journey. Also, provide respite care.
